Bruce Schwarz was born on June 22, 1956.

He was prematurely “called to that big IRS AUDIT in the sky” on February 8, 2017.

Bruce was a great friend, business associate, CPA, husband, stepfather and step grandfather.

Bruce earned his undergraduate and MBA from Cleveland State University, where he also held the position of Director of Internal Audit. He was a founding member of the Delta Xi chapter of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity.
Bruce founded his accounting firm, Schwartz and Associates in 1993.
He was an avid OSU football fan and was always seen wearing the OSU logo.

He raised his 2 step children as his own, Brittanie & Kyle.
He invested countless hours over 15 years to teach and coach his son, Kyle Kalis, how to be a great young man and football star.
His son, Kyle Kalis, www.KyleKalis.com was recently signed as a free agent for the Washington Redskins.
Unfortunately, Bruce was never able to realize the dream of seeing his son play in the NFL.

Bruce had many friends in the Cleveland, Ohio area and was proud of his success that took him from his meager beginnings in Euclid to a mansion on Lake Erie and flying to Las Vegas in a private jet with his friends and business associates.
Bruce worked long, hard hours year after year to provide the very best for his family.

His other passion was spending time with his 2 dogs, Tank and Buster.

To relax, he occasionally played golf (although not too good at it) and thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the Schvitz steam club for a steam, steak and massage.

Prior to his family life, Bruce enjoyed a fun and carefree playboy lifestyle of boating, jet skiing, playing backgammon and cruising around town in his shared private limousine.

He lived for many years at the famous “Westlake Condo” (see photo) on the Rocky River.
His “partner in crime & the limo” was one of his best friends that he met at the March of Dimes Bachelor Auction almost 30 years ago.
Bruce and Steve constantly dined out for the following decades, usually “flipping a coin” to see who got stuck paying.
The Bruce & Steve duo traveled extensively to Mexico and twice to Cuba where they met a very intelligent young Cuban man in need of assistance.

Bruce helped the young man to leave Cuba and to teach him the American Dream and way of life.

To this day, Alex greatly admires the values taught by Bruce.

On what would have been his 61st birthday, we can only say that Bruce will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

We hope that he is riding high in his shiny limo in the sky!
